In 1998 a small group of aspiring realists held a very unique art exhibit in Northeastern Pennsylvania titled 'Capturing Realism'. This show exhibited the endeavors of a handful of impressive local talents brought together under the tutelage of a renowned artist and fellow native of the Keystone State: Anthony J. Waichulis. In the years that followed, The Waichulis Studio's 'Capturing Realism' became a highly anticipated biennial showcase garnering national attention. Now, almost 14 years since its inception, this widely celebrated event represents the efforts of a movement that will reach across the globe.
